GPA MN Participating Vets

The National Greyhound Association requires that all retired racing greyhounds be spayed or neutered before being adopted. All GPA MN greyhounds are spayed or neutered and receive a dental check-up and cleaning under anesthesia before being  placed for adoption. Because greyhounds have special anesthesia needs, performing both procedures at the same time prevents the dogs from having to undergo surgical and anesthesia procedures twice. All adoptable dogs are also current on their rabies and DHPP vaccinations. Vaccination and vetting records will be provided at the time of adoption.

The veterinarians listed below generously provide GPA MN with discounted services for the vetting of all incoming foster hounds before they are adopted. These clinics are also very knowledgable about the special medical needs of greyhounds.
